PushMeApp – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 February 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PushMeApp ("the App") by Yevhenii Puhachov ("we", "us", "our") handles your data.

The App is published from the European Union and is distributed only via Apple's App Store for iOS.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect or require:

  • user accounts, logins, emails, nicknames or avatars;
  • contact details (name, phone number, postal address);
  • location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or other device permissions;
  • analytics, advertising identifiers (IDFA), or any tracking information;
  • crash reports or usage analytics via third‑party services.

The App works fully offline and does not communicate with any server that we control.

1.1 Workout statistics (local + iCloud)

The App stores:

  • number of push‑ups per day and date;
  • daily, weekly and monthly goals.

These data are:

  • stored locally on your device in the app's storage; and
  • optionally stored in your personal iCloud Key‑Value Store, solely to keep your data in sync across your own Apple devices.

We treat this information as exercise statistics for self‑tracking, not as medical or diagnostic data. The App is not intended for medical use and does not provide medical advice.

2. How and why data is used

We use your data only to:

  • show your push‑up history, streaks, daily record and totals;
  • display and track your daily, weekly and monthly goals;
  • synchronise these data between your own devices via iCloud (if enabled in iOS settings).

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties.

Data from your workouts never leaves:

  • your device, and
  • your personal iCloud account managed by Apple.

3. Storage and sync

  • On device: all statistics and goals are stored locally inside the App's sandbox.
  • In iCloud: if iCloud is enabled for PushMeApp in your device settings, the App uses Apple's NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore to keep a copy of your workout data in your own iCloud account.

We do not have access to your iCloud data via any server or API – it is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure.

4. Data retention and deletion

Data are stored until you delete them. You can:

  • reset statistics inside the App – the "Reset statistics" function deletes workout data for the selected period from the device and, via iCloud sync, from your iCloud storage;
  • delete the App – when you uninstall the App, iOS deletes its local data.

If you do not want iCloud synchronisation, you can disable iCloud for PushMeApp in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Show All Apps.

5. Legal basis (GDPR) and CCPA

For users in the EU / EEA (GDPR):

  • The processing of data is based on your consent (you voluntarily enter and store your data in the App) and on our legitimate interest in providing you with workout tracking functionality.
  • You can withdraw from processing at any time by deleting your data (reset statistics) and/or uninstalling the App.

For users in California (CCPA):

  • We do not sell personal information and do not share it with third parties in the sense of a "sale" or "sharing" under the CCPA.
  • Because there is no profiling or advertising, your "Do Not Sell or Share" rights are implemented by default.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access – you can see all of your data directly in the App's interface.
  • Rectification – you can edit entries (for example, change the number of push‑ups for a particular day).
  • Deletion – you can reset statistics in the App and/or uninstall the App.
  • Restriction – you can disable iCloud synchronisation for PushMeApp at the system level.

Because we do not operate a backend or user accounts, requests for export or deletion outside your device are usually not required: all data are under your control on your device and in your iCloud.

7. Children

PushMeApp is not specifically directed at children and is intended for a general audience (for example, users aged 13+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Because the App does not use accounts or our own servers, all data that are entered remain on the device and/or in the user's personal iCloud.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available together with the App (for example, via a link on our website or in the App description).

The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
